I recommend them to every family I know with a need for this kind of service. From the administration to the two ladies, we’ve been very impressed with Home Instead. The things that my father was looking for, especially the social aspect, maintenance in terms of vacuuming and bathrooms and other things, are being taken care of. We had a follow-up discussion with the specific caregivers and the lady who owns it and made some suggestions.
Susan, Terry and Robyn have all been wonderful! I promised my wife we wouldn't put her in a facility, but she never got well enough to come home. We loved Home Instead while she was at home. The ladies that took care of me were very good. I am very pleased with the service I received.

She also provides him companionship and keeps him engaged with conversation. She never sits down, she is always on the move getting things done that sometimes we didn’t even realize needed to be done. I really recommend Home Instead Senior Care to assist with their elderly parents. The caregivers are kind, caring, and willing to help with whatever needs are required. They were readily available for last minute needs and always followed up right away.
They are always on top of everything...if one person couldn't get to it, it was usually the GM, and we got everything straightened out. The caregivers are very calm, soft voiced, efficient and willing to do whatever I ask. No issues with the exception of the caregiver being late on occasion.

Robyn cares for my father, but when mother had a fall this past week, Robyn called me so I could take her to the hospital and have stitches put in. She helps with cleaning and is always asking what else she can do. I like all the caregivers that are with me at all times. They are always on time and ready to pitch-in. Very good, Every time I had a request it has been met.

She took a brief break for Cosmetology School, Graduating in 2014. Soon following she knew her passion was for the Senior Care Industry, working for 3 years as a Office Support, Assistant Director, Sales and Marketing Director in a Senior Community. Since then, Christina transitioned to Home Instead for Great Growth and Knowledge from a Client and CAREGiver's understanding. We only used Home Instead for two weeks, and the caregivers were very good, but my wife did not accept them.

It’s our mission to provide a care plan personalized to your family’s needs to bring you comfort, companionship and peace of mind. Home Instead Senior Care which we have had for both of my parent. They were present when my father passed away and I honestly have never seen more caring individuals in their careworkers. My mother who has aphasia and disabilities from a stroke has needed 24 hour care. What beautiful people we have encountered while using Home Instead, and quite honestly they have become like family.
They have always been reliable, compassionate, and very accommodating when schedule changes were requested. Mom loves her caregiver like a second daughter. Just having her be there three days a week has lessen the worry, made life more manageable, and has given my mom a welcome friend. Our dad's caregiver is fantastic and the office staff from Home Instead are very attentive and helpful.
I look forward to see her each day; always in a good mood. I like that someone from the office checks on us. I was searching for a caregiver for my dad who has Lewy body dementia.
Also,if a caregiver can't come as a result of an emergency, someone else is available to take over if need be. They go out of their way to make life as nice as possible for client and family. They really try to match up a caregiver that’s compatible with your loved one. We’ve been very satisfied with the Communication. Our mom has 24 hour care seven days a week. This service makes it possible for her to stay in her home.

Our caregiver is always on time, usually a few minutes early. Home Instead care givers are on time, knowledgeable about their work, sensitive to patients, ready to full fill any required home care needs. We are more than happy with the service and we love the caregiver. Right from the start I appreciated the way the employees worked hard and effortlessly to help us find the right fit for our in home care.
Rakael has been wonderfully thoughtful in who she has placed with Lola. Nancy has been patient, hard working, and sensitive to Lola's needs. We are very pleased with the service being provided by Laurie and the Home Instead Senior Care. We will most likely need to expand services to more hours as our condition may require. Michelle was wonderful to my aunt and uncle. People who care about the client, and treat them like a friend.
Therefore, based upon this experience, I cannot recommend using Home Instead’s services. I recently needed assistance for my father to assist him in recovering from surgery. I needed a pretty quick turnaround due to his needs. I called Home Instead senior care in East Lansing to see if they would be able to quickly turnaround. I instantly received a call back from Home Instead and they were very caring and understood my dad's needs. They readily provided me with the necessary paperwork and found a responsible care provider in a matter of hours.
Michelle came out and and answered all my questions and made me feel really comfortable. Since we have had the service I have not been disappointed. The ladies come and take great care of my mom while being so respectful and professional.
